Things heated up at the end of Day three of the Lord's Test when England opener Zak Crawley was seen deliberately delaying the Indian bowlers. Things got spicier when India skipper Shubman Gill was seen animatedly walking towards Crawley and gave him an earful. The English opener also gave back few words before on-field umpires had to intervene.

For the unversed, Bumrah was bowling the last over when Crawley stopped the pacer, stating he is facing sight screen issue. The premier bowler was clearly unhappy and was telling the lanky batter to get on with the game, as India wanted to bowl another over. However, despite Bumrah telling the opener to not waste time, he yet again stopped after two balls - this time he had some issue on his fingers.

It is at that moment that the visitors got frustrated and came charging towards the England opener. Pacer Siraj was also seen having a go at Crawely.

India end Day 3 at the top on back of KL Rahul's fantastic century

Speaking about India, they ended Day three at the the top on back of superb innings by opener KL Rahul's 100. The opener showed fight, character, and determination to help India level England's score of 387 runs. Apart from the right-hand batter, vice-captain Rishabh Pant scored a breezy 74. The duo's efforts has allowed Indian bowlers to have a shot at dismissing the hosts below 300.

However, anything beyond 300 runs would bother the visitors as Lord's pitch tends to keep a bit low on Days four and five. Recently, South Africa chased 283 at Lord's on the fourth innings against Australia to clinch WTC 2025 title.
