England’s Joe Root reclaimed his top spot in the Test rankings after his fourth Test century at Lord’s. Meanwhile, five Indian batters recorded personal gains, with all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja making the biggest move after the Lord’s Test.
Jadeja Extends Lead as No.1 Test All-Rounder with 409 Points
Jadeja’s twin fifties, complemented by his three wickets and sharp fielding, earned him a big boost in the ICC Test all-rounder rankings. The No. 1 ranked all-rounder now has 409 points, leading by over 100 points ahead of Bangladesh skipper Mehidy Hasan, who has 305 points.

Jadeja also broke into the top 35 in the ICC batting rankings for the first time, moving ahead of KL Rahul (35th) to claim the 34th spot. Meanwhile, Rishabh Pant (8th), Yashasvi Jaiswal (5th), and Shubman Gill (9th) retained their positions in the ICC Test batting rankings.
Bumrah, Root Hold Top Spots; Starc, Boland, Brook See Major Shifts in ICC Rankings
In the bowling charts, Jasprit Bumrah continues to hold the No. 1 spot, followed by Kagiso Rabada and Pat Cummins. Mitchell Starc remains in 10th after his record-breaking spell against West Indies in Jamaica, while Scott Boland has jumped to 6th his career-best following a hat-trick in the third Test.
Former England captain Joe Root reclaimed the top position in the ICC Test batting rankings after briefly handing it over to teammate Harry Brook. Root’s century at Lord’s, scoring 104 and 40, propelled him to 888 points. Brook dropped to third after a poor performance in the same match.
